Price and what that includes:

• Date: July 7-21, 2009.
• Cost: $2700 for two weeks (includes flight, travel in Panama, excursions, hotels and meals outside of the family, 2 week family stay and supplemental insurance)

Round-trip international travel with the PSP group includes:

• Travel within Panama from Panama City to the host family and back
• Help in booking U.S. travel to and from Panama
• Placement with a carefully selected host family who provides room and board
• Orientations in the U.S. about Panama and what to expect in your family situation
• Emergency 24-hour telephone numbers in the U.S. and the host country
• Panama Service Project staff here and abroad who help ensure the best possible experience for each participant and family
• Secondary medical coverage

Participants are responsible for costs associated with:

• Travel in the U.S.
• Passport fees
• Any inoculations
• Personal spending money
• The cost of optional trips offered by Panama Service Project to El Bale (Santiago group) or is not included. Students are not required to participate in optional events.

Program fee is payable by check, money order, or cash. No credit cards are accepted.There is a handling charge for changing international return flights and/or returning separately from the group.

Secondary Medical Coverage

Because of our commitment to participant safety and welfare, Panama Service Project requires that students purchase secondary medical coverage as a prerequisite for participation in our programs abroad. Having this coverage ensures that, in an emergency, treatment can be obtained as soon as possible, anywhere in the world. Panama Service Project representatives will be able to act to meet the participants' medical needs without having to wait to ensure that his or her family's regular health insurance coverage will cover any medical needs while abroad. This medical coverage is included in the program price.
